The terms governing your use of the Synthorai LLM API gateway — billing, API keys, BYOK, and acceptable use.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Synthorai platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our platform.

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your API keys or any other breach of security. We have the right to disable any API key at any time if we believe you have violated any provision of these Terms.

4. Billing and Tokens

Our services are billed based on token consumption or pre-allocated monetary quotas. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days prior notice. If an upstream provider changes their pricing significantly, automated adjustments may be reflected in your dashboard in real-time.

Our platform allows you to store your own API keys for third-party providers via the Secure Vault feature. When using BYOK:

All top-up credits and quota purchases are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. In cases of verified platform errors (e.g., incorrect billing or failed requests charged in error), you may request a credit adjustment by contacting support. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted within 30 days of the disputed transaction.

In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your specific usage of the upstream AI models via our gateway, or (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers.
